Can human imagination be combined with computer logic in the creative process?
In a moment in which computers seem destined to take all human labor, the presence of the human mind in the creative process has become a dividing subject. Between those who believe the cost of labor does not justify the result, and those who see human artistry as the remaining irreplaceable source of value, the question remains: How to work alongside artificial intelligence?
In an innovative workshop at WoMa Paris, The Challenge Academy, together with EX FIGURA, propose a series of exercises exploring how the unique identity of each person can be used in parallel to a computer. By focusing on personal background, identity, tastes, preferences, and, in particular, the use of intuition, the workshop reveals how to take advantage and combine them with the analytical logic of a machine.
Intuition + Data
By starting with a collection of art pieces in the iconic Parisian Musee D’Orsay, the workshop will center itself on how to create spaces from existing realities. From paintings, sculptures and design objects, students will collect their favorite pieces, then transforming them into spatial realities.
Art + Architecture
The workshop will go on through the weekend. Each student will have the opportunity to see Paris in a different perspective and take inspiration from unexpected places. They will see the creative process in a distinct way, learning how to combine their unique identities with the processing power of artificial intelligence.

Combining the knowledge and experience of people working with art, architecture, design and others, the goal of every project is to create a strategy that, taking advantage of the site, can put forward an experience that is meaningful towards anyone that uses it. After designing and building multiple spaces and objects in different parts of the world, the studio always sees it as fundamental to collaborate with various people from many backgrounds in every new endeavor.
