The fifth edition of The Challenge Academy started from the premise of learning architecture by experiencing space through movement and direct interaction with the city, therefore we added these searches to the competition brief, by experiencing the city step by step.

We looked for new ways of configurating A New School of Architecture, through a competition divided into three practical workshops, configured as learning opportunities, in which 30 students could take part, called „The New Architecture School”. The students with the best solutions were sent on routes of international architecture highlights, getting to explore the architecture of a large European city, through a study trip to Barcelona – THE TRIP.

The workshops – whether we are talking about concept building, project development or architecture programs – were accompanied by breathing exercises and body movement, in an attempt to increase our intellectual searches with the creativity that can be generated by the harmony between body and mind.
